This Privacy Policy explains how Omni Editor ("Omni Editor," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit omnieditor.co, create an account, or use our AI image and video creation services (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Service.

Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

1. Account information. Your name, email address, profile image, login method, account identifiers, and authentication records.
2. Content and generation data. Prompts, uploaded images or videos, style references, generation settings, generated outputs, task status, model selection, and related metadata.
3. Transaction information. Plan, credit balance, purchase history, billing status, currency, payment provider, and transaction identifiers. Payment providers process your full payment card or account details; we generally receive transaction and billing metadata rather than full payment credentials.
4. Device and usage information. IP address, approximate country or region, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages or features used, timestamps, diagnostics, and security or fraud signals.
5. Communications. Messages, support requests, content reports, and other information you choose to send us.
6. Cookies and similar technologies. Session, authentication, language, attribution, preference, security, and analytics data stored through cookies or similar technologies.

We receive this information directly from you, automatically from your device, and from service providers such as authentication, payment, analytics, storage, and AI processing partners.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Create and secure accounts, authenticate users, and provide customer support
• Process prompts and media, operate AI generation and editing features, and return results
• Store generation history and assets so they remain available in your account
• Calculate, grant, consume, and refund credits and process purchases or subscriptions
• Maintain, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the Service
• Detect prohibited content, abuse, fraud, security incidents, and violations of our Terms of Service
• Send service-related messages, including verification, transaction, security, and policy notices
• Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users, third parties, and the Service

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal information to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, comply with legal obligations, or based on consent where required.

AI Processing and Uploaded Content

To perform a request, we may send your prompt, uploaded content, generation settings, and related technical data to third-party AI infrastructure and model providers. These providers may include an AI gateway and the company that operates the model you select. Available providers and models may change over time.

We use uploaded content and generated outputs to provide the Service, maintain your asset history, enforce our policies, resolve support issues, and comply with law. Omni Editor does not use your private content to train models owned by Omni Editor unless we first provide clear notice and obtain any consent required by law. Third-party AI providers process content under their own terms, privacy notices, and data retention practices.

Do not upload personal data, confidential material, or images or videos of other people unless you have the rights, permissions, and lawful basis needed to do so.

Content Moderation and Safety

We may analyze prompts, uploaded images and videos, generated outputs, related metadata, user reports, and account or device safety signals to enforce the acceptable-use rules in our Terms of Service. We may use automated moderation tools, model-provider safeguards, and human operational review where appropriate.

Our safety screening is designed to identify prohibited content, including:

1. Sexual, pornographic, nude, sexually suggestive, or other NSFW content
2. Graphic violence, blood, gore, terrorism, or credible threats
3. Hateful, discriminatory, or violent-extremist content
4. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child exploitation, grooming, or sexualized depictions of minors
5. Deceptive deepfakes, unauthorized impersonation, fraud, or non-consensual intimate content
6. Copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights-infringing content

When content is flagged, we may refuse or stop processing, block an upload or output, restrict features, preserve relevant records, investigate a report, suspend or terminate an account, or notify service providers or authorities when reasonably necessary or legally required. Safety records may be retained for fraud prevention, dispute handling, policy enforcement, and legal compliance even when other content is deleted.

To report prohibited content or misuse, email support@omnieditor.co with the subject Content Report. Do not email, re-upload, or attach suspected CSAM, illegal sexual material, or non-consensual intimate media. Describe the material and its location instead.

How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to:

• AI providers that process prompts, reference media, and generation requests
• Hosting, database, and storage providers that run the Service and store account records or media
• Authentication and email providers that support sign-in, verification, and service communications
• Payment providers that process purchases, subscriptions, refunds, disputes, and tax-related information
• Analytics and security providers that help us understand usage, prevent abuse, and protect the Service
• Professional advisers and authorities when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce agreements, or protect rights and safety
• A successor organization in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law

We do not sell personal information for money or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose data to service providers for the business purposes described in this policy.

Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. Prompts, generation records, uploaded reference media, and generated outputs may be retained so that you can access your history and assets.

Retention periods vary based on the type of data, storage settings, operational needs, legal requirements, fraud prevention, payment disputes, and backup schedules. Third-party providers may keep temporary or operational copies under their own retention policies. When information is no longer reasonably needed, we delete or de-identify it, subject to legal and technical limitations.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including access controls and encrypted network connections where appropriate. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, or misuse will never occur. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.

Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access or obtain a copy of personal information associated with you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Request deletion of personal information or closure of your account
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Receive certain information in a portable format
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Appeal a decision or complain to your local data protection authority
• Receive equal service and pricing when exercising applicable privacy rights

You can update certain profile information in Settings > Profile. To submit a privacy request, email support@omnieditor.co from the email associated with your account with the subject Privacy Request or Delete Account. Describe your request and the account it concerns. We may ask you to verify your identity and authority before completing the request.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law. We may retain limited information where necessary for security, legal compliance, accounting, fraud prevention, payment disputes, or the establishment or defense of legal claims.

Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies for sign-in, session security, language preferences, and core functionality. We may also use limited analytics or attribution technologies to understand how the Service is discovered and used.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, but blocking essential cookies may prevent account or Service features from working. Because there is not yet a uniform industry standard for browser "Do Not Track" signals, the Service does not currently respond to those signals.

International Data Transfers

Omni Editor and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users who are under the age of legal majority where they live may use the Service only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of this section, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Service, our practices, or legal requirements. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where required.
